Welcome to TraumaShearz.com, the webstore for Salt Flats Leathercraft. We are here to provide you with the tools of your trade in fun and interesting designs. Our trauma shear sheaths are handcrafted one by one and will last many years if treated well. We start with a tanned undyed cowhide and transform it into the durable and artistic items you see on our pages. The leather we use is heavyweight cowhide and each item has its own unique variations in leather texture and pigment. Each sheath has a strong metal clip on the back to attach it to your scrubs or your belt and it comes with one of our trauma shears in your choice of color. Our sheaths are worn vertically. I work as an RN in a busy trauma center and use a set of these products in my daily practice. They serve me well and allow me to show more of my personality than when I just wear my boring department-supplied scrubs. I truly feel that you will enjoy them too in your own practice.
